With the very painful inflammation of his gums, Maladou must absolutely take medication...

1. An inflammation of the gums prevents him from chewing!

Maladou the cat suffers from calicivirus... His symptoms include a big inflammation in the gums, and he drools and has a lot of trouble eating because of it, as his jaw is very painful.

We do have tablets to give him to help him. But since Maladou is very fearful, it is complicated for us to give him his treatment.

2. He sleeps outside despite being ill...

Maladou lives outside, in the central square of the village. This place is very exposed to the wind and it is far from ideal for a sick cat...

3. With blankets, he could keep warm

With blankets, Maladou would no longer have to sleep on the ground. He would also have a warm place to curl up, protected from the wind.

4. Without subsidies, taking care of the 200 street cats who rely on us is a real struggle!

We have no subsidies. Many of the free cats we take care of are sick. Their treatments are often expensive, and they need special food to take them... Any help would be welcome!
